Good Morning all, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. The earthquake & damage in Nepal does affect me.
I chose Nepali hand-crafted items as my first cultural exposure focus for the store because of the people & their generosity; their creative spirits & how very different they are in terms of what is valued & what is not compared to others I had at that time in my own life.
What they create & the ease at which they did them was enthralling…beauty is in everything if you take the time to see it. Laughter came easy as did a smile, so for the next week at least if not more, anything my store sells, a percentage will go to support the rebuilding effort.
I can only hope that those I know there made it through, if not, I wish them a safe journey. There is always death & tragedies ….so support is always needed, but since I have the Nepali hand crafted items around me…I need to pay homage to them at this time.
Brightest of Blessings to you and yours. With a raised mug–Liza M.

Good Morning all, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. I have so much to do this week but I realized I hadn’t posted anything to y’all in a while. I miss being able to find the time to do this each day like I did in the beginning.
Things are hopefully going to get better with the store; while sales are not where they need to be yet, I am keeping my fingers (toes, eyes) crossed that they will improve enough where I no longer have to wonder if I can continue to do this full time.
I was pleased to be able to help people the past few weeks as they tried my supplements & teas and the inspiration and grounding from the various jewelry as well as the other items I stock.
Here is to hoping others find their way to me and I can try to help their lives be a bit a better…with less pain, less depression, and full of more hope for the possibilities in the future.
All of us are on various paths all the time, whether we are looking for ways to improve our health, our outlook, our luck, our sense of self & purpose or something else. I only hope that I can help you along the way to whatever you are searching for. Be limitless at the possibilities and tap into your imagination for it may provide you the guidance you need.
BB! Wishing you all much love and luck on your paths. –Liza M.

Good Evening all, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. As the day is winding down I came across this graphic. I know I’m guilty of speaking before “think”ing and so perhaps this graphic can be a reminder for you as well. I know I need to probably print this and put it where it can be seen every so often so my mouth takes that pause before it decides to just let loose.

Good Morning everyone, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. I have had a rough week. I thought I had perhaps broken my right hand, my primary use hand….swollen fingers, wrist not usable…and lots & lots of pain. I couldn’t bend the fingers, bend the wrist, nor ignore the pain and due to my various conditions, I have a high pain tolerance. Stock was arriving, household supplies running low (poor kitties), and other things you do without thinking are now on the “can’t do easily or at all” list. Luckily, I had some great friends willing to help clean the kitty litter, run errands, cut foods into easy pickup bites, remind me to not try to do stuff; also offer up ideas of “what” may have happened.
After a few days and by using my peppermint/eucalyptus (feel sore, clean wound) lotion, the swelling had gone down enough to see a bite mark. I probably was bitten by a rather large spider..so started treating it for that…and yep, slowly, oh..I had knuckles again and wrist could start to move….still not back to full movement but I can type again, drive the SUV, slowly pick up around here.
I appreciated all the help I did get and even for those guy friends willing to help with the uh…delicate covering issues (ever try to unhook a bra with the wrong hand…not easy). HA!
Hope y’all like the new items I’ve gotten in & the new stuff still arriving that myself or my friends have helped me catalog & unpack.
Shout out to all of those good friends who are there for when you do need them and are able to push through your stubbornness to aid when its needed.
To all those that have lost limbs you have my utmost respect truly….adaptation is not easy.
Blessed Be, Brightest Blessings. With a raised coffee mug –Liza M.
Good Morning everyone, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. As I sit in the house with the thunder booming, I updated the Website with an additional graphic on the Tidbits section pertaining to some uses for Aromatherapy. Many people suffer from PTSD (myself included) caused by a variety of situations. There are some who can “lose” themselves back into that timeframe, and I was reminded that New Years is coming up or other stressors that can trigger episodes for many people. I have a trick that I use to bring me back…from those places…and I have passed it onto others in person and realized I had not passed it onto you. The reason I stock some of my “favorite” scents in my store from places that I felt safe, calm, etc…is because scent is a very powerful memory cue. I have found that if I’m on the verge of an episode, breathing certain scents can bring me back, allow me to achieve calm; or even on days where I’m not full of a great deal of energy or dealing with a great deal of pain; scent again can help rejuvenate, energize etc.. So, if you know of someone, or need some help yourself in coping with things, give Scent a try. Choose various ones that invoke memories in you or in your loved one…your friend; you may help them suffer less during those times. Scent is a great way to express yourself but also a great way to help you deal with many things. Good luck in your paths.

P.S. I wrote this about 3 hrs ago but just as I was getting ready to post, I lost power…taking it as a hint that the day should be tech free & an imagination day….paperback here I come, so for once; publish and logging off. Have a great Tuesday! -Liza.

Good Afternoon all. It’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. Recognizing the sides that a person has and allowing each of them time to “play” can be very difficult. The graphic I did below is only a few….I know there are so many that if I tried to list them all, you would never be able to read it.
This is a struggle I know I still have, having to be primarily one over all the others and especially suppressing certain sides because it wasn’t appropriate for the persona I needed to portray. As I try to move ahead with this business I recognize that perhaps the suppressed “free spirit” needs to come out to play. For so many years I was primarily a warrior and provider that I was entirely too serious too often and perhaps now is the time for a bit of my fun (and sexy) personality to come out; especially if I want this business to succeed.
I am approaching a time where I might have to go back to being ultra-serious again (eeek) and if I’m gonna have to go work for someone else again…I might as well have some fun while I can. Recognize your own sides and ensure you give them ample time. Don’t take things too seriously all the time; have a laugh, play, be silly; be loving, nurturing, expressive; be sexy; be artistic, pay homage to things that make you smile. Even if you can only do it in small ways if your job requires you to be “business” all the time…allow yourself a little secret reminder of what else makes up you.
BB and check out the shop when you get a chance…perhaps you’ll find something that will help express a few of your many sides. –Liza M.
Good Morning Everyone. Friendships can see you through both the greatest highs and lows of your life. Cherish those individuals who truly enjoy the journey with you.
This Friday after the work week ends…have a bit of fun among friends; enjoy a laugh…put the work week behind you and begin your weekend with a smile.
Our new stock should be in next week and we will also be posting the promised “why” sheet for the Blood Sugar formula we carry & how it has helped beyond just what the label says (yes we are excited at the other factors).
Our weekend ahead will be a “research heavy” weekend as we MUST see if we can get a booth at a local flea market to try to sell some of our lovely wares.
Enjoy your journey, support one another…you are truly gifts to each other among the journey of life…we certainly see you as gifts to us.

Hello everyone, this Sunday is a restful day for us. It’s been a difficult week.
The Owner had multiple bad days of pain. It was hard for her and hard for us to watch. She normally manages it quite well but this week her tricks seemed to not work very well to lessen the muscle aches, swollen joints, etc.. .
We dug through her books here and compared it to all we have to see if one of the formulas we have yet to post a “why” sheet on contains ingredients that may help.
We were surprised to see the Blood Sugar Support formula contains things that help for so much more than that. We are happy to say that the cherry, huckleberry, juniper berry ingredients in that formula helped…after a few days of adding that in she began to feel better…we could even see the swelling from the inflammation in her joints going down & her appetite return.
Now we understand why she is always encouraging us to also look at the ingredients for things beyond just what is “advertised”.
To celebrate…we went out got some vanilla and root beer…Floats all around! If you were here we’d share them with you too. Victory over something deserves a treat and this is ours today.
Enjoy your Sunday and we will post a “why” sheet as soon as we get our other primary laptop back that has our template on it.
