Good Morning all, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. I am still been so busy & wearing myself out that mind fog, exhaustion and overall “wth” has been setting in. I am sorry I haven’t posted anything other than tidbits on Facebook but I didn’t want to go to long without getting to my wordpressers….so at least for today, here are some of my tips on how I deal with my “mind fog” and here is to hoping next weeks brain draining “tax” visit is much less painful than I’m expecting.
BB! Wishing you all much love and luck on your paths. With a raised mug–Liza M.

Good Morning all, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. I have had a rough few days, what I would call “reminder” days. I have various conditions that cause me daily pain ranging from annoyance to extreme… but I generally manage it quite well…however, every so often my body gives me a “reminder” of just a fraction of how bad it used to be before I found the various natural compounds, treatment tricks, and this is what I have been dealing with this week.
Along with my formulas I sell; acupuncture, acupressure, meditation, aromatherapy, sound & color therapy are all included in my bag of tricks. The only thing “western” style that I take regularly is aspirin as it does thin the blood & help with pain (I used to have raw white willow bark for that but haven’t had that in good supply in years) so for those that didn’t realize how much I use the stuff I sell, here is the breakdown of the daily formulas I take. This does not include the teas & specific essential oils I make into lotions for myself & friends but you can imagine I use all my oils for aromatherapy & the bubble warmers especially play a role in color therapy & mediation (as do the candles, lotus blossoms etc..).
Yes I began this business because of my own health conditions & need for a good supply of items. I also decided to start it to help others find their paths to health and overall wellness by addressing not only their body & mind but also their need for spiritual exploration & personal expression.
BB! Wishing you all much love and luck on your paths. -Liza M.
P.S. Don’t forget to follow on Facebook, I do ask for feedback on possible new items.

Good Morning everyone, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. As the New Year begins, I’m hopeful. I did the final tally for the last quarter and while it is not where I need it to be, it was better than the previous quarters so…better is good and I’ll take it.
I will be getting in some new stock and hopefully some of the older stock will start to get down far enough so I can get more stuff in. I like to rotate through items, cultures, and offerings but I can’t restock until current stock goes down enough; after all I pay for everything up front… I don’t want to owe any supplier lol.
I’m hoping in the next few months the supplements that are getting to the “re-order” point will continue to catch on so I can put my label on those that have earned that right.
I knew it would take time for people to give them a chance and I’m happy to say those that have…have seen the benefits from them and why I’m so picky about ingredients.
I wish you all a great 2015, and I hope to be able to still be in business this entire year and the popularity of the stuff I have will continue to grow.
It’s all about you….it brings me great joy to help others find their own overall wellness and anyone that has met me…realizes it’s not about what I could charge you but about what you get out of it. I know some of my items are way under priced as I’ve heard about in person and I’m always shocked at what “stores” charge people for things for things that I also carry but I want you to get benefit from it without it killing your pocketbook. Whether it is aromatherapy, color therapy, health supplements, natural treatments, style expression, etc…my hope is that I can continue to address the needs of the mind, body & spirit.
Achieve balance and make sure you feed your soul & creativity that way you can truly experience life around you.
The photo below is one reflection caused by my Purple Bubble Fragrance Lamp that I stock (got for myself of course) and I loved how it looked, I hope you enjoy it.

Good Morning everyone, it’s Liza, the Owner of The Wandering Path. As I sit in the house with the thunder booming, I updated the Website with an additional graphic on the Tidbits section pertaining to some uses for Aromatherapy. Many people suffer from PTSD (myself included) caused by a variety of situations. There are some who can “lose” themselves back into that timeframe, and I was reminded that New Years is coming up or other stressors that can trigger episodes for many people. I have a trick that I use to bring me back…from those places…and I have passed it onto others in person and realized I had not passed it onto you. The reason I stock some of my “favorite” scents in my store from places that I felt safe, calm, etc…is because scent is a very powerful memory cue. I have found that if I’m on the verge of an episode, breathing certain scents can bring me back, allow me to achieve calm; or even on days where I’m not full of a great deal of energy or dealing with a great deal of pain; scent again can help rejuvenate, energize etc.. So, if you know of someone, or need some help yourself in coping with things, give Scent a try. Choose various ones that invoke memories in you or in your loved one…your friend; you may help them suffer less during those times. Scent is a great way to express yourself but also a great way to help you deal with many things. Good luck in your paths.

P.S. I wrote this about 3 hrs ago but just as I was getting ready to post, I lost power…taking it as a hint that the day should be tech free & an imagination day….paperback here I come, so for once; publish and logging off. Have a great Tuesday! -Liza.

Good day everyone. We hope this week is winding up nicely for all of you. We have prepared a graphic with some of the data from the MayoClinic on Meditation. We have also linked up that article & a link to YogaYak for auditory assistance onto the Blogroll.
Meditation tools can be different for everyone. We use sound, like those provided by YogaYak videos; focus talismans (the crystal lotus blossoms, candle flames or the light from the oil warmers); and aromatherapy scents (i.e. the Waikiki Sunset as the Owner spent many great years living in Hawaii) to help deal with stress, pain, lack of focus and whatnots of daily life. Even using the tools in work settings can help keep the frustration down & for you to focus (hence the portability & size of the zen garden, flameless candles, crystal lotus blossoms).
Whether you do this for 5 min or much longer, if it can help calm your mind & body then perhaps you can be on your path to what you seek or need. We hope you find it beneficial as we do.

Good Morning Everyone. We hope your Thursday AM is going well. Often dreams are put on hold. Desires for creativity are often stifled in lieu of practicality or out of fear of how it will be perceived.
Remember to support the dreams of those around you and recognize your own. Creativity outlets don’t have to be expensive but can be very therapeutic and inspiring. See below for a quote from Shaw and take a look at how perhaps imagination can aid your overall experience of “life”.

Evening all, it’s Liza..the Owner @The Wandering Path. I wanted to share with you how well my evening is going.
I bought the purple oil warmer for myself and the Wakiki Sunset essential oil (yes both at retail…and I feel like I got a great deal cause of what it looks like and how it performs!).
I turned it on and found I loved the reflection factor that I’ve been sitting here and just staring at it and breathing deep. I found myself just completely de-stressing as I breathed in familiar smells of plumeria and pikaki. I lived in Hawaii for almost eight years and I loved it.
I even turned on this You Tube video and found my Friday Evening proceeding with a great serenity. Here’s to making my own Haven…and I hope you find ways to make yours. Gotta love color & aromatherapy.
-Smiles & Hugs to you all. – Liza M.
